Tour C – The Classic Tour 150 years of the Berlin underground

Our association has been offering the “Classic Tour” ever since 2001. The tour is a combination of parts of the thematic Tour 1 and Tour 3, which were developed three years later. This route is for all those visitors who prefer a broad overview of this exciting subject. On the tour our guests visit parts of our substantial exhibitions and come away with an idea of what can be discovered in Berlin’s underground.

During the first part of the tour our guests will visit a “reactivated” bunker from the Cold War. On the second part of this journey, which traverses almost 1,000 metres in total, visitors make their way through the Gesundbrunnen U-Bahn station to an authentically preserved bunker from the Second World War – the home of the Berlin Underworlds Museum.

Please note that because of time constraints, this tour does not include a visit to all of our available sites, nor all of our many exhibition rooms.
