I was lucky enuf to have been in Berlin from jan 59 thru sept 63 with the 40th armor. Served on the wall proudly for the german people for 9 months in our tanks and tents against the East Germans,
vopos
as i recall. I have many good memories of the wall and many nice pics, now in the world we live in it is the Muslims and not the comunists we must also fear

interested in purchasing "Schultheiss" beer. Do not know of any local distributors here in New Jersey.
Can you help locate a distributor?
Thank you,

Took the Tour 1 today, excellent! Very good guide, speaking quickly but thats because he has so much to tell! Tour offers a good mix of actual underground bunkers, retrieved objects and weapons and some historical background about the war, the destruction and rebuilding of Berlin.
90 minutes passed in no time, well worth the money.
Will be doing tour 2 and 3 as well, looking forward to it.
Dont forget to visit the remains of the Flak Tower in Volkspark Humboldthein afterwards, its in the park just across the street. Just walk up the small mountain and be surprised!

The guided tours are simply fascinating: they tell a story people are generally unaware of. The guides are nice and competent. I took part in 2 tours, but I would have liked to make them all! You cannot miss this experience: ) Thank you to the association

I recently visited Berlin for the 12th time in 8 years and find the whole place fascinating, especially its underground history, which most visitors are simply unaware of.
I have now been on 2 of the tours, which were excellent!
Thanks very much, and keep up the good work on this website.

I urge expanding your tours & denoting underground acess ports from surface sites for Whole Tours underground & include maybe these:
Hotel in Underground Tempelhoff Airport
Hotel, B&B in miscl Nazi bunkers built
Revive any subway to use for acess below Main subway line.
& expand your Tours to Central EU IE Czech Rep, Poland, Romania, etc IE Cold War era bunkers.

Imagine the revenue & PR alone.

I urge having TV & Movies shot in select Berlin underground sites alone.
More revenue.

Apps for Berlin Underground:
Data Storage
TV & Movie use
Hotels
B&B Inns
Museum Center.
Nazi Trail of Bunkers from 1930s era.
R&D facilities for Berlin Univ, etc.
Homes-prefab modules in renovated spaces , near surface exits.
(very radical).
& I urge City Maps denoting Underground Berlin sold online & with std Tourisim maps etc.

Same for ALL EU cities since WW2.
& Tours should include:
Munich
Bonn
Hamburg
Dresden
etc where Germans had bunkers etc.

The whole country Underground.
Wow.

Hope U can use.

Imagine Oktoberfest in Underground Berlin.

The Berlin Underground can house these:
Disco rock dance center
Mall
Museums
Art Galleries
Gun Range?
New subway.
Apts, Condoes?
within Historical Centers in amid Berlin.

& I urge linking to other Underground exploring groups IE
Paris
Munich
Moscow
Tokyo etc.

We visited last Sunday and were taken on tour 3. sadly we did not have time to follow the other tours. i found the experience moving and much appreciated the tour guides commentary.wish it could have been longer as I now feel I wish to know much more about the history and geography of Berlin. I visited in 1981 and find the place so transformed over the intervening years,, so vibrant and creating a new path for itself.
I believe you are providing an invaluable service in protecting the remnants of the recent past while they are still fresh in the memory as this will not always be the case.
The guide was quite correct I believe, when he quoted those who forget their history are condemned to repeat it - I am paraphrasing. There are many who would prefer to bury uncomfortable truths about their history and we find this in every culture.
I loved Berlin the only shame is that my German is so poor, but I will remedy that.
Great job, crucial .

I have been on two of your tours and have here your brochure. I have been on Tour I and 2 with a group of students fom here. The Flak Tower is amazing. I only wish that the floors had not collapsed.
The bunker on tour 1 shows few surprises except for the luminous phosphorus paint on the walls. With the predicament of the population of Berlin I suppose it made no difference.
I am anxious to see "Germania" but I doubt if I will return to Berlin before the end of the year. Are there any thoughts of extending the exhibitions ?

The swimming pool at Andrews Barracks had 1 or 2 levels below it. Please see if you can gain access.

I had an excellent time on the tour and I just wanted to express my gratitude. My Mom, sister, and I took the 11am tour on Monday, March 16, with Robin D. Williams. Robin was great at giving patrons a better understanding of what citizens experienced during the war. I Highly recommend this tour, as it was one of the highlights of my trip. And, Robin, if you happen to read this, please let me know if someone else ever tells you that they got a "feeling" in that display room. Hopefully you remember the conversation we had after the tour about that!

I saw the documentary about the Berlin Underground Society just recently I enjoyed the program along with its superb video and
expert narration by Sascha Keil his passion and knowledge along with his articulate speaking skills makes me want to visit Berlin and tour the bunkers and tunnels already explored.
