Special Tour for Members, down into the street tunnels beneath Tiergarten Park, relics of an intended 'cross of the axis' – the central traffic junction in the heart of Nazi-Germany's Capital.

First night of “Tiefenrausch” (literally: Rush to the Depth), by Nathalie Singer, within the facilities of Gesundbrunnen Subway Station Bunker. A Radio feature produced by the Berlin-based Public Broadcasting Company “SFB” (meanwhile: “RBB”).

The German Film Director Margarethe von Trotta is shooting parts of her film “Rosenstraße” within the facilities of Gesundbrunnen Subway Station Bunker. The historic set of our Underground Exhibition can be used for the shooting almost without being changed.

Second Seminar of our association in course of further vocational training: “Battle of Berlin 1945”, organized by Jürgen Müller and Gudrun Neumann, members of Berlin Underworlds' Association.

Special Tour for members into the subterranean parts of the former German Railway Company's Repairs' Plant “Franz Stenzer”, Berlin-Friedrichshain.

First Seminar of our association in course of further vocational training: “The Underground of Berlin”, directed by Jürgen Müller. This is the beginning of a series of one-week seminars dealing with various aspects of our Association's activities.

First night of “My sweet Adolf – Letters to the Fuehrer” within the facilities of Gesundbrunnen Subway Bunker.

Opening and Exploration of Schwartzkopff Tunnel, a subterranean pedestrian's passage beneath the S-Bahn and the former Railway tracks at Nordbahnhof S-Bahn (City Railway) Station.

First Presentation of “New York – Anatomy of a Metropolis”, an illustrated book by Julia Solis, within the facilities of the disused U 3 Subway Station “Potsdamer Platz”. A Cooperation with Ch. Links Publishing House.

A Successful Inspection of Blochplatz Civil Shelter takes place this day – meanwhile we can find here probably the up-tidiest installation of that kind in the whole Greater Berlin region.

Special Walking Tour for Members through the tubes of the B 96 Federal Street Road Tunnel-under construction beneath Tiergarten Park.

“Day of the Open Monument” (Heritage Day). Berlin Underworlds' Association presents a Walking Tour through the AEG Subway Experimental Tunnel and, for the first time to the public, a trip into the vaults of the former National Monument in Honour of Emperor Wilhelm I. at the “Schloßfreiheit” Lane in Berlin-Mitte.

3rd “Long Night of the Bunkers” takes place, at the same time as the “Long Night of Museums”. Opening night of the exhibition “Among us” by the French Photographer Joël Brulé within the facilities of U 8 Gesundbrunnen Subway Bunker.

The construction work at the Flak Towers in Humboldthain Park is going on. In the second week, a new entrance gate at the lower platform is installed, together with the electricity systems. More than 150 cubic metres of rubbles are transported. During the months to come, Berlin Underworlds' working group “Humboldthain” is preparing the interior of the Flak Towers to make it safe enough to be opened for public guided tours.

A Special S-Bahn Tour for Members around Berlin's recently reopened S-Bahn (City Railway) Circle Line. After the trip, the Association celebrates its 5th anniversary in the course of the first “Bergfest” party on top of the Flak Towers in Humboldthain Park.

Special Excursion for members to the fortifications of Zorndorf, near to Küstrin (Poland).

Special Tour for members to the never ever used subway stations of the so-called U 10 “Phantom Line” in the districts of Schöneberg and Steglitz.

A special walking tour for members along the former “Ministry Garden” grounds, Berlin-Mitte.

First Research Trip of the Association to the former Experimental Site of the German Air Force in Rechlin (Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania), close to the Lake Müritz.

Jürgen Müller, a member of Berlin Underworlds, delivers a lecture about the former “Wehrtechnische Fakultät” (Military Faculty) in Grunewald Forest, within the facilities of Gesundbrunnen Subway Bunker.

Beginning of a cooperation with the French Photographer Joël Brulé (Hamburg), about a photographic exhibition within the facilities of our Association.

Second Special Visit for members to the modern Civil Shelter close to the Hotel Excelsior in Stresemannstraße, Berlin-Kreuzberg.

First Presentation of Berlin Underworlds' Association at the “Pow Wow” Tourism Fare in the Martin Gropius Exhibition Hall, Berlin-Kreuzberg.

“K1 – Die Reportage” – A broadcast documentary of the German TV Station “Kabel 1” featuring subterranean installations all around Germany presents an insight into Berlin Underworlds' research activities.

A new version of Berlin Underworlds' Prospectus (in German, English, French and Russian) is published. The Association has 105 members. The northern Emergency Exit of Blochplatz Civil Shelter has been reopened which allows the visitors an exclusive view upon the U8 Subway Line tracks.
