The association looks for an appropriate place to accommodate an “Underworlds' Museum”. The internal structures get started, a new concept for exhibitions is compiled.
A “Mysterious Tour”, organised by “Der Tagesspiegel”, leads into the vaults of the abandoned Pfefferberg and Schultheiß breweries in Schönhauser Allee, Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg.
Press Release of the association. Topic: The impending destruction and filling up of the Mühlendamm Tunnel, Berlin-Mitte. On the site, Germany's Industrial Chamber of Commerce has been settled. Beneath its modern buildings, there lays a well preserved section of Berlin's Subway Network. This relic will be destroyed completely, but for no understandable reasons. Berlin Underworlds criticize this act of demolition sharply because the building dates back to the 1930s. Besides, there has been no public discussion what to do about this place or whether there are alternative forms of using possible or not.
The statues and articles of Berlin Underworlds' Association are settled of seven founding members' own wills. The first Board is elected.
